This TacArtCo desk mat features a modernized interpretation of the iconic M1 Carbine, illustrated with clean lines and contemporary accessories while preserving the platform’s unmistakable profile. Classic wood furniture is paired with modern optics, suppressor-ready configuration, and updated ergonomics — creating a design that bridges WWII-era roots with present-day utility.
Originally adopted during World War II, the M1 Carbine was designed as a lighter, more maneuverable alternative to full-size battle rifles. Chambered in .30 Carbine, it offered controllability and portability for support troops, officers, and airborne units. Its compact size and reliability helped cement its place as one of the most widely produced U.S. firearms of the 20th century.
This modernized version imagines how the platform might look if updated for today’s use — retaining its lightweight character while incorporating modern sighting systems and accessories.
