This TacArtCo desk mat features a clean, illustrated AUG bullpup rifle, rendered in a minimalist technical art style that highlights the platform’s unmistakable profile. From the integrated optic and bullpup layout to the modern accessories, the design is precise, balanced, and instantly recognizable.
Originally developed in Austria in the late 1970s, the AUG (Armee-Universal-Gewehr) helped popularize the bullpup configuration, placing the action behind the trigger to achieve a full-length barrel in a compact overall package. That layout delivers improved maneuverability without sacrificing velocity — a big reason the AUG has seen military and law-enforcement adoption worldwide.
